Communication and Social Media Maven

Akuba’s communications career started back in high school during her time as the PR officer for Beta Club and writing articles for the school news paper.  She went on to  serve as the PR officer for K.O.P.E  Inc., a grass-roots non-profit where she was responsible for creating press releases, website copy, newsletters and informational pamphlets.  She successfully attracted celebrities, secured sponsorship from local businesses and garnered media attention for their programs and events through television, newspapers, and radio.

She Is Lots of Awesome

Akuba sweats awesomeness.  She is registered as a bone marrow donor and once rescued an abandoned kitten from the side of the road.  She graduated top 10% of her highschool class, was Co-Captain of the flag squad and her high school Homecoming Queen; officially destroying the geek/cool barrier.  Aside from her life awesomeness, she also oozes business awesomeness. She’s earned her Bachelor’s in International Affiars, an MBA and started her own business.   Akuba’s strongest skill is “execution.”  Need a project manager?  No sweat.  Need a leader?  That’s Akuba all day.   If you want a task done and done right, you call Akuba.  It’s no wonder that she is planning her class reunion.  Awesomeness…
