I’ve always been slightly envious of people with obvious talents. Usain Bolt is a talented runner; Bernie Madoff…Made-off with other people’s money. Lets not even get started on the Williams sisters.
Over the years, as I tried to figure out what my purpose on this earth is, the answer that kept coming to mind was “Help.” One day it finally clicked. I have a passion for helping others. My life up until that point boldly reflected one of service for my community. As an adult, my experiences in Corporate America further helped me realize how much I loved helping people and not business’ bottom lines. Do you see the conflict? The place I was professionally didn’t reflect my personal values.
So I decided to do something about it. I’m focusing my talents, energy and efforts on my passion for helping others and my desire to become a Community Advocate and Entrepreness. Follow me on this indefinite journey of self-discovery and passion-stalking.
